今年2月に交通事故で逝去したnujabesのトリビュートアルバム『Modal Soul Classics II dedicate to...Nujabes』が、10月にリリースされることが明らかになった。
同アルバムには、盟友Uyama Hirotoをはじめ、クラムボンとtoeのメンバーによる「clammbon with yamazaki, mino & yamane from toe」、calm、Emancipator、Five Deez、FK、haruka nakamura、Kenmochi Hidefumi、Pase Rock、Specifics、Zack Austinが参加。曲目などの詳細は、hydeout productionsのウェブサイトで後日発表される。
なお、8月14日に代官山UNITで開催されるnujabes追悼ライブイベント『Nujabes Eternal Soul』の会場では、Uyama hirotoによる『Modal Soul Classics II dedicate to...Nujabes』収録曲“Home As Journey”の12インチLPがリリースされる。
